Alright, enough of the voting part. Time to start on my challenge 2! 

So some days ago, I went to Cathay Cineleisure Orchard with Ayuni and Shabnam. Chanel couldn't make it so we've decided to meet up on another day! We met up for lunch and we headed to A.venue Bistro which is located at 8 Grange Road, #03-06A/B Cathay Cineleisure Orchard, Tel: +65 6733 2270, 

 The cafe is located on the third level of the shopping centre! The opening hours are as stated: 

Sunday - Thursday: 11am - 11pm

Friday - Saturday: 11am - 2am

So I looked through the menu and look at the set lunch they provides!

Yes, you can have your own choice of either Linguine Seafood Aglio Olio, British Fish & Chips and Timmy C Sandwich with a Soup of the Day and Salad at only $13.90+! If you want to find good and affordable food, A.venue Bistro is definitely the place to be. Unlike other cafes or restaurants at Orchard, this price is really affordable in my opinion and I'm really glad I can find good and affordable food even in Orchard! But a little pity that I didn't order the set lunch because I was feeling a lil' full and I wouldn't be able to finish the soup all by myself so.. I ordered a Linguine Seafood Aglio Olio!

As you can see, the items on their menu are priced between $5.90 to $11.90! $5.90 for a plate of pasta in Orchard... Where to find such a good price! Thumbs up for the affordable price! ✌ 

$2 just for a can of green tea! Really affordable right? :) 

 

And tadah! The food is here. Although the cafe is rather packed, but the waiting time is short and food is served within 4 minutes or so! ó‿ó

The serving is rather huge and it looks so appetizing!

Trust me, I've never liked Mussels because I really dread that "fishy" taste in it. I've tried it once or twice at some hawker centre and I've hated it ever since because it doesn't taste fresh at all. But a friend of mine recommended me to try Linguine Seafood Aglio Olio. I was hestitating at the beginning because there's Mussels in it... But still, I gave it a try! 

So yes, after trying the food, I have to say that the Mussels are really fresh and there's not a single bit of that "fishy" taste!! Glad that I made the right choice!

The prawns and squid are really fresh and tasty too! Another thumbs up for fresh ingredients! ✌✌✌

So yes, I've finished every single bit of my food!

The food here is really worth the price and I really like the cosy atmosphere here! The seats are really comfortable and the cafe provides good customer service! In addition, the service charge don't really cost a lot as well, therefore, another thumbs up for low service charge! ✌✌✌✌
